Just talked to a long lost senior/friend from gb. a better way to put it wld be a comrade in the Girls' Brigade. And i'm so starting to feel nostalgic. seriously. though there were unhappy moments and happy ones (and you tend to rmb those unhappy ones more) but now.. you look back and LAUGH.

and hearing about the spiritual-ness. gosh it's really so sad. like gb girls used to LOVE singspiration (what we call worship). then it got to i-sing-for-the-sake-of-singing and not getting scolded. and now it's DON'T SING AT ALL. gosh. i really miss Gb

but man poly timings keep clashing with gb timings. and sat and sun's are always for kept for church and will ALWAYS be for church. but then again.. i rmb the older people saying how we sld ahve christian friends outside church too. i used to have tonnes from gb. but now.. no more i guess. we don't even have time to catch up. which is again sad.

maybe i sld give up some sats and suns for gb. MAYBE. not into it yet though.

i rmb those times we had to CHIONG for all the bummerated camps
running up and down the stairs countless times just to do it FAST enough
rmb the HOrrible camp where we didn't get to wear shorts under our short gb uniform
i rmb being in sec 1 and 2 and being "tortured" and when we were in sec 3 and esp sec 4 OUR TURN!!
planning for those big gb event (eg. enrolemt)
i rmb worship after drill where we get so tired but still loved worship
All the badge work. gosh.
i rmb having those fun times during drill practices how we could BANG together! gosh!
how my specs wld drop so low seniors always have to help me push them up.
i rmb how we would chit chat with our officers and find them oh-so funny
all those outings we had. gosh loved it.
how we would polish our boots and go "not shinny enough lehh!!"
or when we wld go "SHARON IS HERE! POLISH YOUR BOOTS" (HAHAH! that was funny!)
how we upgraded the trend of keeping out boots in show boxes to show bags!
OH CAMBODIA TRIP! coolness! totally rocked!
and how we wld just gather in Ms Koh's BIG office to just talk.
